Gender and Conflict

Relevant to our discussion of critical feminism.  It may be an empirical finding (though their research is still in progress).  But the observation, if accurate, tells us nothing about why.  What explanations might we generate?  One important note lest we read too much into this: there are very few female monarchs, making conclusions about them relative to their male counterparts is quite difficult if not impossible.
